MOM on DEALZ
I came across a fantastic local website that I wanted to share with others. Here is some information from the About Me section of the Mom on Dealz website.
I am a Christian, a wife, a mother, and a certified elementary teacher. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams with a wonderful husband, 2 toddlers, and a teenage stepson. My family and I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia and are all beach lovers. Being a SAHM allows me to enjoy watching and fostering my sons’ growth, but also makes for a strict family budget. Finding deals, using coupons, and saving money any way I can helps our family stay within our budget.
Why blogging?
Friends were always asking where I found coupons and deals and how I saved money on things my family needed or wanted…so I decided to start this blog. I constantly visit many other bargain blogs and I thought, “Why not create one blog that combines all of my frugal findings?”; so Momondealz began. My goals are simple: To provide others the same deals, coupons, and freebies that I take advantage of and to help you and your family live your best life..despite any financial restraints you may have. This a free website designed to help you save money.
As an elementary educator, I felt that I should also have a “kids corner” on the blog as well. I am definitely no expert, but my past experiences in the classroom may be able to help others and give you tools and strategies that can help enhance your child’s development. Now please keep in mind that just because I am a certified teacher, that does not mean that my grammar and editing will always be perfect!
As a wife and mom, I understand how hard it can be to have “dinner waiting” every night so I also felt the blog needed a “menu planning and recipe” section. My goal is to add at least a recipe a week and those recipes will be as healthy, economical, and easy as I can make them.
I really hope that you enjoy this blog and continue with me on my journey of being “fearlessly frugal”.
