What is the Tacky Lights Tour?

There are multiple ways to see the Tacky Lights. You can do-it-yourself. Pick out a house on Richmond.com's Tacky Lights List and drive over to check it out.
If you have a smartphone, we recommend using our Tacky Lights Guide which will give you door-to-door driving directions, maps, images of each house and more.
If you’d like someone else to do the driving, you can book a limo, a bus or even a trolley to take in the Tacky Lights.

Downtown Holiday Lights by Trolley
6:00pm -8:00pm – Monday thru Friday only.
This is a tour to see the beautiful light displays downtown, along Monument Avenue and through the Fan.
$20 per person
**Children under 3 years old sitting on an adult’s lap are free, all others require a ticket to board.**
Please note: This tour will be serviced by both enclosed and open-air trolleys depending on availablity. Open air trolleys include clear weather curtains that can be zipped in as needed. Seating is on a first-come basis. This tour remains in the downtown and Fan area and is NOT a TACKY LIGHTS TOUR.
Trolley will pick-up at the Omni Hotel (Cary Street side) @ 5:50 PM and at The Main Street Station parking lot @ 6:00 PM.

7:00pm-9:00pm – Monday thru Friday only.
2-hour tour of Richmond’s most over-the-top homes in the West End
Trolley will pick-up at the Omni Hotel (Cary Street side) @ 6:50 PM and then at The Main Street Station parking lot @ 7:00 PM.

**Because of the late schedule, this tour is not recommended for small children**
