Tucanos Brazilian Grill Celebrates the World Cup

Newport News, VA (June 9, 2014) - Tucanos Brazilian Grill, a festive, family friendly Brazilian steakhouse, today announced plans for a month-long celebration of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Tucanos will celebrate Brazil hosting soccer’s world championship with activities for the whole family yet featuring a decidedly Brazilian flair, including special menu items and “tailgate” carryout packages, in-restaurant viewing parties of select games, an online social media contest and by introducing what may be the next “must-have” World Cup souvenir -- the caxirola.
The caxirola (pron. ka-she-'roll-ah) -- created in the image of the caxixi, a traditional Brazilian percussion hand instrument – is a rhythmic noisemaker that has been dubbed the official musical instrument of this year’s World Cup in Brazil.
World Cup enthusiasts can get their own caxirola at Tucanos Brazilian Grill in a number of ways:

- Attending viewing parties at your nearest Tucanos restaurant
- Reserving carryout orders for special World Cup package meals
