Norfolk Naval Station Fleet Fest October 18th!

Mark your calendar to attend Naval Station Norfolk's "Fleet Fest” Saturday, October 18.

 
 

Norfolk, VA – In celebration of Fleet Week Hampton Roads and the Navy’s 239th Birthday, Naval Station Norfolk will host Fleet Fest from 9 a.m. – 4 pm. Saturday, Oct. 18.

The event is open to the public and includes ship tours, static displays, live entertainment, car show and chili cook-off.

Headlining this year’s Fleet Fest will be the aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), guided-missile destroyer USS Bainbridge (DDG 96) and guided-missile destroyer, USS Gonzalez (DDG 66). The ships will be open for public visitation from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

New this year, U.S. Fleet Forces Command will host a Birthday Concert featuring the U.S. Fleet Forces Band aboard the carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt. The concert will begin immediately following ship tours.
