Veterans Writing Project: A D Day Public Reading
Saturday, June 6th at 3:00 p.m.

The Veterans Writing Project, Hampton Roads Veterans Writing Group, and Chrysler Museum of Art are partnering to put on a special D-Day veterans reading event.

The reading will feature the work of Ron Capps, founder of the Veterans Writing Project and author of Seriously Not All Right, as well local veterans from the Hampton Roads Veterans Writing Group.

Come hear the powerful stories from vets of all generations, and support the many talented veteran artists of Hampton Roads. Admission to the event is free, though donations to the William & Mary Center for Veterans Engagement will be accepted both before and after the reading.

The Hampton Roads Veterans Writing Group is a cost-free writing group for service members, veterans, and military family members of all writing backgrounds and skill levels. For more information on getting involved, phone (757-348-7093) or email Jose Roman.
