Nashville Zoo is Proud to Announce their MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY, PRESENTED BY REGIONS

11/13/2016, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Nashville Zoo and Regions Bank invite active military personnel, military veterans and their immediate families to receive free admission during Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, November 13.

Military Appreciation Day is offered in gratitude for the commitment, bravery and sacrifices made by those who serve our country. In addition to regular Zoo activities, a special children’s fun zone will be set up on Festival Field with bounce houses, games and activities.

The Grassmere Historic Home will be open to visitors on this day. A collection of military items will be on display downstairs and on the back porch of the house.

DID YOU KNOW?

Nashville Zoo offers a discount throughout the year of $1 off each admission for military personnel and their families.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Active military personnel, military veterans and their immediate families

HOW TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT:

Visitors must show their military ID, veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification to be given free admission. Dependents must be accompanied by an active duty military personnel or veteran to receive the discounted admission. Please note: The normal $5 parking fee per vehicle will still apply.

Weather permitting, lorikeet keepers will be at Lorikeet Landing 9:00- 3:15, keepers will be in Critter Encounter 9:00-4:00, and kangaroo keepers will be in Kangaroo Kickabout 9:00-4:00 to answer questions.
