JUNIOR ENLISTED MILITARY FAMILIES TO BE HONORED FOR VOLUNTEERISM
The Armed Services YMCA will host the 23rd Annual Five Star Military Family Recognition
Luncheon on Friday, November 3rd at the Westin Virginia Beach. Several Hampton Roads
businesses and community supporters generously contribute to this event each year.
November is National Military Family Month and the Armed Services YMCA honors one
Hampton Roads junior enlisted family from each of the five military branches of service that
best represents a commitment to serving others through volunteerism. Each family is
formally honored at the luncheon by military, community and business leaders and
presented with tokens of appreciation from sponsoring organizations.
If you know of a junior enlisted military family that deserves recognition, please NOMINATE
