Easter Weekend at Wave Church
Wave Church Has High Hopes for Services This Weekend
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 2018) – Many will gather and visit different churches across the area on Easter Sunday, with the hope that people from all walks of life would come to celebrate what Jesus has done for us throughout an incredible Easter Weekend with options for the whole family.
Wave Church has many options for the entire weekend as we present the Easter story through the eyes of one of Jesus’ disciples. Wave Church’s Easter Weekend begins on Good Friday at our communion service where we begin the story with the headline, “Alleged Savior Of The World Dies.” We continue our story on Easter Sunday morning where we look into the disciple’s perspective with the headline, “Suspicions Confirmed, The Tomb Is Empty.” We then conclude our Easter Weekend on Sunday evening with the headline, “Community Gathers to Celebrate Risen Savior.” This celebration includes a helicopter easter egg drop and fun for the whole family at our community event.
“We are very excited to share our Easter services with the community,” says Pastor Steve Kelly, Senior Pastor of Wave Church. “Our approach is one with the vision that many people would come to church to experience an excellent production and in turn hear the message of Jesus and all that He has done for us.”
A musically talented team, a state-of-the-art venue and a celebration of the life of Jesus all comes to fruition on this coming Easter holiday. This fresh approach to this traditional holiday offers a breath of fresh air for those looking for a local church to become a part of.
This multi-media production and Easter message will be offered at the Great Neck campus, located at 1000 N. Great Neck Rd. at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m; and the Seaboard Road campus, located at 2655 Seaboard Rd. at 10:00 a.m. Many other Wave Church campuses across the United States will also be holding services - for times and locations, go to wavechurch.com.
In addition to this creative presentation, join us for our Sunday evening event where we will have an incredible helicopter egg drop with over 16,000 candy-filled eggs. Other activities include a petting zoo, food trucks and many games. It is truly a fun filled event for the entire family.
