Military Appreciation Details

  • To pay tribute to the men and women who serve in the U.S. military, the Nationals will give away complimentary tickets to military service members and their families for Military Appreciation Day on Tuesday, April 2 against the Philadelphia Phillies presented by SAIC.
  • Active duty service members, veterans, dependents, reservists, and retirees may claim up to two complimentary tickets for each military ID or proof of service and purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate.
  • Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

PenFed and The Washington Nationals launched their Military Appreciation Program, "Tickets for Troops" in 2018.  This is part of a three-year partnership offering Free Tickets for Military in their dedicated PenFed Military Section located in right field at Nationals Park. 

About Tickets for Troops

  • PenFed and the Nationals are entering year two of a three-year partnership which includes a special 100-seat “PenFed Military Appreciation Section” located in right field at Nationals Park.
  • Complimentary tickets in the section are available to the military community for all regular season home games at Nationals Park (diamond and marquee level games included).
  • Active duty, dependents, veterans, retirees, reservists and DOD-civilians can claim tickets via nationals.com/TicketsForTroops and then pick them up in person on the day of the game.
  • A valid military ID or proof of service must be presented to claim tickets.
