Easter Weekend at Wave Church~Wave Church Has High Hopes for Services This Weekend
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 2019) – Many will gather and visit different churches across the area on Easter Sunday, with the hope that people from all walks of life would come to celebrate what Jesus has done for us throughout an incredible Easter Weekend with options for the whole family.
Wave Church has so much in store for the entire weekend as we present the Easter story in a relevant way. Wave Church’s Easter Weekend begins on Saturday, April 20th with a free Easter Egg Hunt for the whole community. This celebration includes 75,000 candy-filled eggs, a skydiving Easter Bunny, petting zoo, food trucks, games, bounce houses, and fun for the whole family! Easter Sunday morning, April 21st, the fun continues with an incredible service, powerful praise and worship, a fun program for all children and middle school students, and a petting zoo after each service!
“We are very excited to share our Easter services with the community,” says Pastor Steve Kelly, Senior Pastor of Wave Church. “Our approach is one with the vision that many people would come to church to experience an excellent production and in turn hear the message of Jesus and all that He has done for us.”
A musically talented team, a state-of-the-art venue and a celebration of the life of Jesus all comes to fruition on this coming Easter holiday. This fresh approach to this traditional holiday offers a breath of fresh air for those looking for a local church to become a part of.
This Easter message will be offered at the Great Neck campus, located at 1000 N. Great Neck Rd. at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m; the Seaboard Road campus, located at 2655 Seaboard Rd. at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.; and the Norfolk Campus, located at 120 College Pl. at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Many other Wave Church campuses across the United States will also be holding services - for times and locations, go to wavechurch.com.
In addition to this creative presentation, join us for our Saturday morning event at our Great Neck Campus (1000 N Great Neck Rd.) from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where we will have an incredible egg hunt with over 75,000 candy-filled eggs and 4 different egg hunts for different age groups. Other activities include a petting zoo, food trucks, bounce houses and much more. It is truly a fun filled event for the entire family!
