STARTING POINT

Peninsula Community Chapel is a place where you can feel at home, grow in your relationship with Christ, and find opportunities to serve both the local church and the global community. Join us for worship and fellowship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. or during the week at any of our community groups and experience Christian fellowship that is deeply rooted in God's Word.

Becoming part of a new church can seem difficult and frightening. Here at the Chapel, our goal is to make you not only feel welcome, but to also understand the great depths of God's love and mercy for us all. If you're interested in learning more about PCC, we invite you to join us on the 4th Sunday of each month at 9:00AM for Starting Point, a class devoted to sharing God's vision for PCC and how you can be a part of it.

Starting Point is also the name of a directory that we publish with information about every ministry at PCC. If you are looking for one document that covers all that is going on at PCC, this is that document!

Service Offerings

Join us for worship and fellowship on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. or during the week at any of our community groups and experience Christian fellowship that is deeply rooted in God's Word.

Peninsula Community Chapel was founded in 1983 as a church plant of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk. As a broadly evangelical church, PCC seeks to focus on those aspects of the Christian life most evangelicals hold in common: a high view of scripture, the Lordship of Christ over all areas of life, local and personal evangelism and world missions.

OUR BELIEFS
We believe the following eight propositions to be taught in Scripture. All teaching across every age level conforms to them.

WE BELIEVE
In one God eternally existing in three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In the inspiration of all the Scriptures by the Holy Spirit and their inerrancy as originally given, and that they are the final authority for our faith and practice.

In the incarnation and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, who by His shed blood and substitutionary death paid the redemptive price for all our sins and for the sins of the whole world. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven to intercede for us.

That man was created by God in His own image for the express purpose of glorifying Him, that through disobedience he became separated from God’s life and fellowship and that he needs personal redemption from sin through new birth.

In eternal salvation of all who trust the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior and the eternal punishment of all who reject Him.

In the work of God’s Spirit in the new birth, indwelling the believer, causing him to grow into the likeness of Christ and filling him with power to live a godly life and to bear witness to Jesus Christ.

In the union of all true believers as one body in Christ. In the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to the earth bodily to claim His own people, to vindicate Himself, and to set all things in order.
