Mission
The mission of Tabb Middle School is to meet the diverse needs of students by providing opportunities for their academic, physical, emotional and social growth during this unique stage of development. We strive to provide an environment that will increase the ability and desire of all students and staff to continue to learn. Although we see many indicators that show success, we want to continue to improve.
Tabb Middle School is the largest middle school in the county, serving more than 900 students in grades 6-8.

The York County School Division is an award-winning school system serving more than 12,000 students in the heart of the Virginia's historic triangle, situated between Virginia Beach and Richmond.
Comprised of 19 schools, the division provides an array of rigorous and diverse programs, that few school systems of similar size can match, such as Elementary Fine Arts and Math, Science, and Technology Magnet schools and the International Baccalaureate program. The York County School Division is also a VA Virtual School approved multi-division online provider.
