Our Vision

The Combat Wounded Coalition's Vision is to Ensure Every Wounded Warrior Realizes Their Full Potential

Our Mission

Inspire Wounded Warriors to Overcome.

We partner and provide connections to organizations which offer excellent resources, programs and proven strategies for success. Another CWC mission is to provide clothing modifications and a unique line of apparel available only to Purple Heart recipients and families of the fallen. We also honor families of the fallen with opportunities to participate in events with our heroes.

Who We Serve

The Combat Wounded Coalition provides program services to Combat Wounded Warriors who have been awarded the Purple Heart. Primary focus is on Purple Heart Recipients from 9/11 forward but will support all living Purple Heart Recipients. If resources are available, The Combat Wounded Coalition will provide program services to wounded warriors injured training for war. The CWC does not provide services to service members injured in training exercises not preparing for combat operations, injured outside of normal military duties, or sickness not directly linked to combat operations.

Families of the Fallen

The Combat Wounded Coalition's Families of the Fallen Program, as part of its mission, is committed to providing support to families of service members killed during combat operations or during hostilities against the United States, and to families of service members who died from complications from injuries received during combat operations, or during hostilities against the United States, to include accidents and exposures. In addition, we provide support for families of service members killed during training missions in preparation for combat operations, and families of service members lost to suicide, due to post traumatic stress after service in DOD-identified combat theaters.

Due to the focused scope of our mission we do not have the resources to support families of service members who died as result of natural death, crime, routine military training, accidents, illness or suicide not directly linked to combat experience. The CWC is currently developing our programs to support Families of the Fallen. If you are a family of the fallen, meet our criteria above, and are interested in learning more about programs the Combat Wounded Coalition is currently developing please contact us.
