HOST YOUR NEXT EVENT ON THE DOWNTOWN NORFOLK WATERFRONT!
Located on the beautiful Downtown Norfolk waterfront, with sweeping views of both the Elizabeth River and the metro skyline, the Nauticus Complex, composed of the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center, the Battleship Wisconsin and Nauticus offers some of the most spectacular and unique event venues in the area.
Whether enjoying gorgeous vistas from within a huge glass rotunda, handling sea urchins in a touch pool, or watching the sunset from the fantail of a massive battleship, your guests are assured an extraordinary and memorable experience.
We do this through a variety of programs available to the public, such as our sailing cruises, adult sailing lessons, an expansive membership program, and our popular Sail Quest Summer Camps. Proceeds from these Sail Nauticus programs enable Hampton Roads youth, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, to meet new friends and learn new things as they navigate their way to becoming exceptional young adults.

Nauticus Hours:
Memorial Day - Labor Day: Open Daily, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Rest of the year: Closed Mondays, Open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday, Noon - 5 p.m.
Nauticus and the Battleship Wisconsin are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Please call for other holiday hours.
Closing procedures for the Battleship Wisconsin begin 15 minutes before close and the ship will be closed in the event of inclement weather.
