Welcome to Hampton Roads!  If you are looking to connect with a church, please consider giving us a try!  We dearly love military and military families!  That’s why our church feels so strongly about maintaining a dynamic, focused military ministry designed to minister to the unique needs and challenges faced by military singles and families.  We appreciate the sacrifices, the moves, the deployments, and all that pertains to the military culture.  We understand that you’re looking for a kind, friendly place to call home. Welcome home!

If there is some way we might be able to serve you while you are stationed in our community, please feel free to contact us. If you are looking for opportunities to get involved in Christian fellowship and ministry we would love to connect with you.

Not a Christian but interested in learning about the Christian Faith?  We would welcome the opportunity to dialogue with you about the subject as well as help you with credible resources. We would also seek to do so with no strings attached or pressure of any type. We offer a short course especially designed for those who want to know more about Christianity, called "Christianity Explored" (materials are from ChristianityExplored.com). We would be glad to tell you.

Stay Connected with Military Ministry

We are a gathering of people who seek to Love God, Love Others and Live the Mission. We exist to glorify God by winning and leading all the people within our reach to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We believe that everyone needs a relationship with God by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and seeking His forgiveness for sin. You can read more about this relationship here.

We meet together to worship at 6 different times each weekend. 

• Sunday mornings, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 11:00 am (312 Kempsville Rd.)
  and 12:30 pm at the Cross Roads Center

• Hispanic Fellowship (Spanish speaking), Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm, Worship Center

• onetwentyseven worship gathering for the 18-30 year old population, Sunday 9:30 at the Cross Roads Center  (For directions to Cross Roads click here)

Preschool: Do you have a preschooler- ages birth through Kindergarten?  Our Preschool ministry provides these little ones with a loving environment filled with hands on learning experiences. Check in at the Preschool Welcome Desk on the first floor. Need more Information?

Children: Children in grades 1st through 5th will join us each Sunday in a grade level LIFEgroup where they will have friendly, nurturing teachers who will encourage them to study the Bible and apply it to their lives. They'll meet new kids and make new friends!  Check in at the Children's Welcome desk on the Second Floor.  Need more Information?

Students:  Student Ministry is for our teenagers (Grades 6-12). Each week 6th-12th grade students gather together to discover God's plan for their life.  Check in on third floor in Room 300. Need more Information?

Join a LIFEgroup! You'll be glad you did!
LIFEgroups are the small group ministry at First Baptist Norfolk. Being a part of a LIFEgroup willconnect you with a group of friends who care for each other, and together grow in their faith through Bible Study and Fellowship. 

LIFEgroup Times:

• Sunday mornings, 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 am

Meet the Pastor

Most Sundays, we have a Guest Reception following the 9:30 and 11am services. Stop by and meet our Pastor.  If you have questions, or would like to talk about some other decision, our Ministry staff will be there to help.
