Tree-lighting with honor.
The 5th Annual Highly Decorated is a tree-lighting ceremony honoring veterans, active military and their families. With a confirmed reservation, complimentary half-day lift tickets at Snowbird and an après-ski reception with refreshments will be provided to each service member and up to 3 family members in recognition of their service and sacrifice.
The event then opens to the public as we gather on Snowbird’s Plaza Deck to enjoy the color guard and anthems of the U.S. Armed Forces and countdown to the lighting of 3 prominent trees that will act as a symbol of our appreciation throughout the 2017-18 season.
The goal of Highly Decorated is to honor active military, veterans, and their families and to raise visibility and support for the Wasatch Adaptive Sports (WAS) Veterans Program, focusing on getting veterans out of the home and active through recreational, social and educational programs.
