Hawks Cay Resort today opened reservations for its 12th annual Heroes Salute program, which honors active and retired members of the military, first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, and medical personnel with discounts and tribute events throughout the fall season.
In celebration of the launch of the program, the resort is recognizing all heroes, especially those working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, by giving away a series of two-night stays for two.
The highlight of the seasonal Heroes Salute program, which runs from August 1 through December 20, 2020, is the weekly tribute event for heroes staying at the resort that takes place every Saturday night. The ceremony includes a video presentation with photos provided by guests of their heroes whether still active, retired, or fallen. In addition to the weekly event, heroes can take advantage of special offers for resort amenities and activities, including the Dolphin Discovery and Dockside programs at the on-site Dolphin Connection facility, fishing charters, and dockage at the marina, among others.

Starting today, Hawks Cay welcomes anyone with a special hero in their life to enter them for a chance to win a two-night stay via the Heroes Salute Sweepstakes. To submit a hero, please visit https://bit.ly/HCRHeroesSweepstakes to fill out a short form (noting the full name and contact information of the selected hero) and submit a picture to be considered for the drawing. Nominees are required to be active or retired military, first responders, law enforcement, firefighters or a medical professional. Four total winners will be selected (one selected per week starting the second week in July).

MILITARY DISCOUNTS FOR HEROES SALUTE
Heroes Salute rates start at $129 per night for those who qualify. The resort has also extended a 15 percent Heroes Supporters rate to civilians who donate $5 or more to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which receives a portion of proceeds from the entire program.
