Great news Busch Gardens fans! Busch Gardens Williamsburg announced their latest limited capacity event, "Taste of Busch Gardens", kicking off September 2 with select dates through September 27th.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg opened for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak in August with their Coasters & Craft Brews event. The event was a big success and the theme park operated with 1000 guests (per time slot) as required by the Governor. They had COVID-19 safety measures in place and guests were able to once again enjoy the rides and experiences at Busch Gardens.
The Taste of Busch Gardens event will be adding on a couple new experiences which is very exciting.
- Two roller coasters are added to the list for this event----Alpengeist and Verbolten along with InvadR, Griffon, and Finnegan's Flyer.
- Three new rides added to the lineup----Der Wirblewind swing ride, Le Scoot log flume ride and Kinder Karussel Carousel. Plus, don't forget to visit the famous Clydesdales.
- Two new villages added----Oktoberfest and Rhinefeld plus the five previously opened villages of England, Ireland, Scotland, Frand and New France.
- One additional operating day added during the week----Wednesdays. The park will be open for limited hours from September 2-27th. Wednesdays and Thursdays 11-3pm and 5-9pm. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day.
The event will offer 15 specialty foods, 30 wines, beers and specialty beverages.
